Men’s Mixer – Wednesday, January 8th, 2025

Hola El Tigre Golfers,

This Wednesday we will be playing a four-person best ball team game in which all teams will need to record only one best ball net score for all Par 3 holes, two best ball net scores for all Par 4 holes and three best ball net scores for all Par 5 holes. Please record both gross and net scores for all players on your team and provide summaries for the front nine, the back nine and the total 18 holes. Also, make sure you circle any gross deuce (2) on your scorecard for any player that had a natural birdie an any of the par 3 holes.

Reminder: Please make sure that you repair any of your divots and also rake out from any bunker that you may have entered.

Ladies League – Friday, January 10, 2025

This weeks’ game will be 4-LADY TEAMS. 2 Best Balls Net using the Stableford Scoring Format.  Please provide team summary gross score for the front 9, back 9 and team summary score for all 18-holes. Game is $100 pesos. Correct change is appreciated. A Rules Sheet will be provided on the day explaining rules & handicap for this game.

Our resident Pro, Hector Rodriguez will provide his weekly golf tip at 8:40 a.m. for those interested. Immediately following this, you will be advised of your starting hole number & any other information deemed necessary.  SHOTGUN START @ 9:00 a.m. sharp.

PLEASE NOTE: Again we have a large number of players currently registered & you must pay your fee immediately upon arrival prior to finding your cart & getting ready for the game. Given the number of players, please make every effort to arrive earlier than your normal arrival time & be prepared to be on your assigned Hole at 8:55 a.m. or earlier.

If you are currently registered to play for the date in question and circumstances change, wherein you’re unable to, you MUSTremove yourself from your “Calendar” BEFORE Thursday JANUARY 9th at 8:00 a.m. This will also free up space for those on the waitlist that want to play.

The weekly cut-off period for the 2024-2025 Ladies League season is Thursdays at 8:00 a.m. & NO CHANGES are permitted after this time. This will greatly assist those of us who organize the weekly games.

Ladies League Calendar Opens for Registration – January 31, 2025

Ladies League Calendar OPENS Friday JANUARY 3rd at 5:00 p.m. for registration on Friday, JANUARY 31st. The calendar will remain open for this date through to Thursday, January 30th @ 8:00 a.m. at which time it will close. Be sure to register today to secure your spot for the game. All changes are automatically saved. Further details regarding the format and any other necessary information will be published closer to game day.

Couples golf – Sunday January 5th

Hola todos,

The game this week is called tres amigos.  It is played in teams of four, using two best ball net per hole and changing partners every 6 holes. Holes 1 through 6, spouses are partners, holes 7 through 12 our partner is the other spouse and holes 13 through 18, the women are partners as well as the men.

We actually have to start playing at 10:00 sharp so we would appreciate you showing up ahead of time please.

Waiting list – Reminder

Happy New Year 2025 to all. Wish you health and good golf all year long.

The high seson is about to begin and maybe you will need to use the waiting list. Here is how it works.

 

This year, all leagues have a maximum players per event. For example, Men League maximum player is 60. On the calendar you will see something like 45/ 60 when 45 players registered, and the maximum is 60. Each time a new player signs in or signs out, number of registered players is adjusted.

When the maximum players for an event is reached, checking box is grayed and an asterisk (*) appears.

Click on * and you will be able to put your name on the waiting list. If you put your name on the list, * will become an @ and you are on the waiting list.

You can go on and out the waiting until the cut off, the day before the event ( 8:00AM for Women League, 12:00 for Couples League and  3:00PM for Men and Skins League). When a player signs out for this league event, every player on the waiting list for this event will then receive an email saying there is a spot available.

The empty spot will be taken by the first player who signs in in after receiving email. Players not fast enough to take the available spot will remain on the waiting list and have another chance to sign in if another spot becomes available.

* You can put your name on the waiting list

@ You are on the waiting list and you will receive an email if a spot becomes available.
