LADIES LEAGUE – Friday, March 1, 2024

This weeks’ format will be 2-LADY BEST BALL team game.  All teams will need to record only 1 best ball net score on all holes.   Please provide gross & net scores for all players on your team & also provide team summary scores for the front & back 9 & total 18-hole score.  Please circle all Birdies & Deuces (2’s) on your scorecards.  The cost is $100 pesos including Skills. Correct change is always greatly appreciated.

Our resident Pro, Hector will be providing his weekly golf tip at 8:35 a.m.This will be followed by the names of your cart mates & your starting hole number & any other information deemed necessary.  Shotgun start @ 9:00 a.m. sharp & WE WAIT FOR NO ONE.

Again this week, we are expecting a large number of players & it would be greatly appreciated if everyone would please make every effort to arrive at least 30 minutes before the start time & please pay your registration fee immediately upon arrival prior to finding your carts & readying yourself for the game.  We are expected to be on our starting holes at 8:55 a.m.

If you wish to play, please make sure to update your calendar & “SAVE” the changes BEFORE Thursday, February 29, 2024 @ 2:00 p.m.  This is the cut-off period & no changes will be permitted after this time.  And off course, should you choose not play and have registered in the past for the date specified above, again please CANCEL your calendar and “SAVE” the changes before Thursdays’ deadline.  This will greatly assist those of us who organize the weekly games.
Remember ladies, ANY changes that you make to your “CALENDAR” must be saved, otherwise they are lost.

All the final changes have been made and the teams are set, barring any last minute cancellations.

Date and Time reminders

Monday
Welcome reception, registration and draft at Vallarta Beer Gardens (previously known as “Chasers”) Monday 5 pm appies and beer provided.

Day 1 Tuesday
4 ball match play competition; Registration desk opens at 7:30 am, please be ready to in your assigned carts by 8:45, Shot Gun start at 9 am
Lunch and beer served after the round, optional horse race at 4 pm.

Day 2 Wednesday
Individual match play competition: Please be in your assigned carts by 8:45, Shot Gun start at 9 am
Final scoring and winner presentation to follow.

We will have as well a optional 50/50 draw tickets will be available on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Draw to be made at the winning team presentation.

We will also have an optional KP entry which will be flighted between white and gold division holes 2,12, and 15 for white division, holes 6, and 17 for gold division both days. Entry will be 100 pesos prizes to be awarded after Wednesdays round. All funds for both 50/50 and kps go towards expenses for Monday reception.

Optional horse race entry fee 200 pesos, all money paid back to the winners 50% first place 30% 2nd place 20% 3rd place

Hola todos,

This week we’ll play a 6,6,6 game in teams of four using two best balls net on each hole.

On holes 1 through 6, the best ball  net of each couple – holes 7 through 12,  the best ball  net of the men and  the best ball net of the ladies and to finish, holes 13 through 18 , the two best balls net of the foursome.

Shot gun start at 10:00, cost per couple is 100 pesos and the maximum handicap allowed is 36.

Men’s Mixer – Wednesday, February 21st, 2024

Hola El Tigre Golfers,

This Wednesday we will be playing a four-person game where each team will only need to record one best ball net score for all Par 3 holes, two best ball net scores for all Par 4 holes and three best ball net scores for all Par 5 holes. Please provide gross and net scores for all players on your team and also provide team summary scores for the front nine, the back nine and the total 18-hole score. Also, please circle all gross deuces (2’s) on your scorecard and remember to repair all divots and rake out any bunkers.

We will be starting our weekly Wednesday Men’s League golf events promptly at 8:50 AM, so please plan on getting to the golf course early enough to allow yourself sufficient time to complete your practice/warm up by that time.

Also, please circle all gross deuces (2’s) on your scorecard and remember to repair all divots and rake out any bunkers.  Cost is $100 pesos and correct change is always appreciated.

VERY IMPORTANT:  IF YOU WISH TO PLAY, PLEASE BE SURE TO UPDATE YOUR CALENDAR & SAVE THE CHANGES AT THE TOP OF YOUR SCREEN BEFORE THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 22nd @ 2:00 P.M.   THIS IS THE CUT-OFF PERIOD & NO CHANGES WILL BE PERMITTED AFTER THIS TIME.  SHOULD YOU CHOOSE NOT TO PLAY & HAVE REGISTERED IN THE PAST FOR THE DATE SPECIFIED ABOVE, PLEASE CANCEL & UPDATE YOUR CALENDAR & SAVE ANY CHANGES AT THE TOP PART OF THE SCREEN BEFORE THURSDAYS’ DEADLINE.  THIS WILL HELP FREE UP SPOTS FOR OTHERS THAT WISH TO PLAY & GREATLY ASSIST THOSE OF US WHO ORGANIZE THE WEEKLY GAMES.
