Updating Your League Email Subscriptions

If you want to subscribe or unsubscribe from the email lists for our various leagues, you can now do so on the website. On the right side of the page, below the archived posts, you will find a form for this purpose. Every time you submit this form, your old email preferences will be replaced by those whose checkboxes you have selected. (In other words, if you currently receive emails from the Mens League, and you want to also subscribe to the Couples League but stay subscribed to Mens League, you must select both checkboxes.)

Please use this tool if you want to unsubscribe from a league’s emails. Using the Unsubscribe link at the bottom of the emails you receive will remove you from all our email lists and delete your account on the website–hopefully not what you want to do!

New FAQ Page

We’ve added a Frequently Asked Questions page to our website. So far it answers questions about our available leagues, signing up for leagues, and signing up for events. If league managers find themselves repeatedly answering other questions, they should feel free to draft questions and answers to be added to the FAQ.

Sunday November 20th

We will play a team game this Sunday.  It will be two best balls net per hole for each foursome.  Maximum handicap will be 36.

Cost per couple will be 50 pesos.

I’m looking for a partner this Sunday as Michel is playing in a tournament.  If anyone is available please let me know.

P.S.  No stress allowed, fun only!

Wednesday Mens League November 23rd

The game for Wednesday is a 4 man team event. Scoring is as follows: 1 net score recorded on Par 5’s, 2 net scores recorded on Par 4’s, and 3 net scores recorded on Par 3’s. Jim Neve will be accepting your Peso’s on Wednesday AM. Thank you Jim.

Phil and the golf course maintenance crews have done an excellent job in preparing the course for play, and, thank you to all Men’s League golfers for keeping the fairways and greens in excellent condition.

Don’t forget to sign up for the Members Tournament on Saturday, November 19th. The cost is $200 peso per person.

Also, if you are going to be around when the NCAA Women are golfing, think about volunteering, as Phil could use your assistance.

That’s it until next time.

Skins League Scorekeeping

I have created a short video showing how I keep score for our skins game. The only requirements are that the scorekeeper be ready to state his team’s score for each of the three 6-hole team games, to quickly identify his team’s best gross and net individual scores on each hole, and to provide Phil with all the info he needs to post scores for handicap purposes. The scorecard shown in this video does all three.

Click here to watch the video. You can also find a link to the video at the bottom of the Skins Game page on the website.
