Men’s Mixer – Wednesday, November 12th, 2025

Hola El Tigre Golfers,

This Wednesday will be playing a four-person waltz team game. All teams will need to use one best ball net score on hole # 1, two best ball net scores on hole # 2, three best ball net scores on hole # 3, and this pattern (1-2-3-1-2-3) will continue throughout the round. Please provide both gross and net scores for all players for your team along with team summary scores for the front nine, the back nine and the total 18-hole score. Also, please enter your scores in the Golf Genius software for yourself and your golf partner on the screen for each hole. In addition to keeping your scores on-line, Golf Genius will allow you to view the live leaderboard online anytime during the round to see how well your team is doing compared to the rest of the field.

Similar to last week, (the day before we play), in addition receiving an updated pairing report you will also receive an additional document from Steve that will provide an alphabetical listing of all players signed up to play that will include their handicap and the set of tees that the golf genius system expects they will be playing from. Please review this information to make sure it is correct, and if there any issues please notify the money collectors (Jon Bottorff and Tyler Patterson), so that we can correct the information in the golf genius software, before you tee off on Wednesday. We are working hard to make sure that the information displayed in the golf genius software is 100% consistent with the information that you enter in your scoring summary sheets.

Remember to circle any player in your group that had a natural birdie on any of the Par 3 holes.

Lastly, please remember to rake out any bunkers you may have entered and repair all divots.

Good luck to all golfers!

Announcement Concerning the Passing of Jim Von Gremp

Hola El Tigre Golfers,

This morning, I received tragic news concerning the passing of our dear friend and fellow golfer, Jim Von Gremp. As many of you might know, Jim had valiantly fought a long battle with cancer for the last 6+ years. In addition to being a good friend, Jim was also a neighbor of mine at Playa Royale and we spent many years working together in various governance roles in support of the greater Playa Royale community. Jim is survived by his wife Susan who was always Jim’s anchor and soulmate throughout their marriage and especially during his long and difficult battle with cancer. Susan provided many of us with regular updates concerning Jim’s ever evolving cancer odyssey, for which we were always very grateful for. Jim was much loved and admired by all golfers and he will be sorely missed by all of us. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Susan and the family.

We will have an opportunity early next year to have a formal Memorial golf event where we will be able to remember and pay tribute to Jim, as well as other fellow golfers that have recently passed.  Additional information concerning this event will be forthcoming later this year.

With deep sorrow,

Markus
