Correction on Net Double Bogie

My apologies, I gave you the wrong information when explaining net double bogie. Let me try again.

Par 3: if you don’t get a stroke you max is 5, 1 stroke your max is 6, 2 strokes your max is 7

Par 4: 0 strokes your max is 6, 1 stroke your max is 7, 2 strokes your max is 8

Par 5: 0 strokes your max is 7, 1 stroke your max is 8, 2 strokes your max is 9

sorry for the confusion

Thank you for the clarification, Lisa.  Just a quick further clarification: If a person is on Hole 6/Par 3 and gets zero strokes, and they then hit 2 balls into the water and decide to take their net double bogie (5), their score of 5 can be used for the team score on this hole.  The same is true for their team partner who hits 2 balls into the water and receives 2 strokes on this hole, their net double bogie score (7) can also be used for the team scoring. On the face of this, it seems like the lower handicap players have an advantage with this new Ladies League scoring rule. Highly doubtful with 2 balls in the water the zero stroke person would score a 5 if they finished the hole; yet, there is potential for the 2 stroke person to get a 7 if they finished the hole. All we can do is give it a try and see how the team scoring goes 🙂
