Ladies League – Friday, March 22, 2024

This week will be 4-Lady Teams EXCEPT 18.  One Best Ball Net for Holes 1-9, two Best Balls Net for Holes 10-17 & three Best Balls Net for Hole #18. Please provide both gross and net scores for the front 9 holes & the back 9 holes & a total 18 hole scores for both gross & net.  Cost is $100 pesos including Skills.  Correct change is always greatly appreciated.

Our resident Pro, Hector will be providing his weekly golf tip at 8:35 a.m. followed by the names of your cart mates & your starting hole number & any other information deemed necessary. SHOTGUN START @8:45A.M. SHARP & WE DO NOT WAIT.

Again this week, we are expecting a large number of players & it would be greatly appreciated if everyone would please make every effort to arrive at least 30 minutes before the start time & please pay your registration fee immediately upon arrival prior to finding your carts & readying yourself for the game.  We are expected to be on our starting holes at 8:55 a.m.

If you wish to play, please make sure to update your calendar & “SAVE” the changes BEFORE Thursday, MARCH 21, 2024 @ 2:00 p.m.  This is the cut-off period & no changes will be permitted after this time.  And off course, should you choose not play and have registered in the past for the date specified above, again please CANCEL your calendar and “SAVE” the changes before Thursdays’ deadline.  This will greatly assist those of us who organize the weekly games.

REMEMBER LADIES, ANY CHANGES THAT YOU MAKE TO YOUR “CALENDAR” MUST BE SAVED, OTHERWISE THEY ARE LOST!

Men’s Mixer – Wednesday, March 20th, 2024

Hola El Tigre Golfers,

This Wednesday we will be playing a four-person “reverse waltz” game where each team will be required to use three best ball net scores for hole # 1, two best ball net scores for hole # 2, and only one best ball net score on hole # 3. Everyone will then follow same pattern (3,2,1,3,2,1, etc.) for all of the remaining holes. Please provide gross and net scores for all players on your team and also provide team summary scores for the front nine, the back nine and the total 18-hole score. Also, please circle all gross deuces (2’s) on your scorecard and remember to repair all divots and rake out any bunkers.

We will be starting our weekly Wednesday Men’s League golf events promptly at 8:50 AM, so please plan on getting to the golf course early enough to allow yourself sufficient time to complete your practice/warm up by that time.

Hi everyone,
This Friday, March 15th, 60 beautiful gems are participating in this event.
The tournament format is a stableford and the team collecting the most points from their net score will be the winner.
You are requested to check in between 8:00 and 8:30.  A meeting of all players will be held at the starter shack at 8:45
to communicate foursomes, starting holes and activities for the day.  Tee time is 9:00 a.m.

Men’s Mixer – Wednesday, March 13th, 2024

Hola El Tigre Golfers,

This Wednesday we will be playing a four-person scramble team game. Starting on hole 1, all team members will be required to tee off from the red tees, and then continue to play out the hole using normal scramble rules. The hole is not completed, until the final putt is made. On hole 2, all players will be required to tee off from the gold tees, for hole 3 all players will be required to tee off from the white tees and for hole 4 all players will need to tee off from the blue tees. This same tee box sequence (red, gold, white and blue) will then need to be followed for all of the remaining holes. All teams will need to use a minimum of 4 tee shots from each player in their group. For this event we will have our normal KP payouts, however we will not have any deuce payouts. Since we are approaching the St. Patrick’s Day holiday, we will also include a special side game as part of our scramble event, the details of which will be announced next Wednesday, before we tee off.  All teams will only need to record their team gross score for each hole. Please remember to repair all divots and rake out any bunkers.

Sunday March 10th

Hola todos,

This week’s game is a four person shamble and we’ll use 80% of the handicaps.

All four players tee off on every hole.  The team choose the best drive and everyone hits their second shot from that position, (staying in the same type of lie), playing their own ball for the rest of the hole.  Three drives must be taken from each player.  9 two net scores and 9 three nets scores will count.  After each hole is completed, the team decides if they use two or trhee net scores.
