Ladies League – Friday, February 2, 2024

This Friday will be a 4-LADY TEAM event wherein all teams will play a strategy game using THREE (3) Best Ball Net Scores per hole.  Nine holes will count for your final total using TWO (2) Par 5’s, FOUR (4) Par 4’s & THREE (3) Par 3’s.  You MUST decide immediately after completing the hole if you will use that score or discard it.  Cost is $100 pesos and correct change is greatly appreciated.

Our resident Golf Pro, Hector will be providing his weekly golf tip at 8:35 a.m. This will be followed by the names of your cart mates & your starting hole number.  SHOTGUN START @ 8:50 A.M. SHARP.

IMPORTANT:  PLEASE MAKE EVERY EFFORT TO ARRIVE EARLY & PAY IMMEDIATELY UPON ARRIVAL PRIOR TO READYING YOURSELF FOR THE GAME. WE MUST BE ON OUR STARTING HOLES BY 8:50 A.M. AND WE WILL NOT WAIT FOR PEOPLE.

IF YOU WISH TO PLAY, PLEASE BE SURE TO UPDATE YOUR CALENDAR & SAVE THE CHANGES AT THE TOP OF YOUR SCREEN BEFORE THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 1ST @ 2:00 P.M.   THIS IS THE CUT-OFF PERIOD & NO CHANGES WILL BE PERMITTED AFTER THIS TIME.  SHOULD YOU CHOOSE NOT TO PLAY & HAVE REGISTERED IN THE PAST FOR THE DATE SPECIFIED ABOVE, PLEASE CANCEL & UPDATE YOUR CALENDAR & SAVE ANY CHANGES AT THE TOP PART OF THE SCREEN BEFORE THURSDAYS’ DEADLINE.  THIS WILL HELP FREE UP SPOTS FOR OTHERS THAT WISH TO PLAY & GREATLY ASSIST THOSE OF US WHO ORGANIZE THE WEEKLY GAMES.

Men’s Mixer – Wednesday, January 31st

Hola El Tigre Golfers,

This Wednesday we will be keeping it very simple and playing a four-person team game where each team will only need to record two best ball net scores for all holes. Please provide gross and net scores for all players on your team and also provide team summary scores for the front nine, the back nine and the total 18-hole score. Also, please circle all gross deuces (2’s) on your scorecard and remember to repair all divots and rake out any bunkers.

We will be starting our weekly Wednesday Men’s League golf events promptly at 8:50 AM, so please plan on getting to the golf course early enough to allow yourself sufficient time to complete your practice/warm up by that time.

Sunday January 28th

Hola todos,

This week we are playing in teams of four and the format is the reversed waltz.  We count 3 best ball net on hole #1, 2 on #2 and  1 on #3 and so one.

As usual, shot gun is at 10:00, the cost is 100 pesos per couple and the maximum handicap allowed is 36.

TORNE💍 DE GEMAS 2024

Hi everyone,

This year our annual tournament will take place on Friday March 15th and 68  dazzling golfers will be able to participate.

In order to be registered,  you will have to check your calender, and  then pay the 500 pesos tournament fee.                                                                                          Sylvie and I will be in the Club House this Friday after your round for that purpose.  It will also be possible to pay Francine this Sunday on couples league.                Please note that all those who were registered before, must do it again,  in order to participate.

The tournament fee covers the cost of your meal (including tax and gratuity), as well as games and prizes.                                                                                                        At the moment of the payment,  please indicate your choice of meal .  Here are your options:   beef, chicken or shrimp burger.

If by chance any of you know a possible sponsor,  we will gladly accept prizes or gift certificates.
