To those ladies that are registered to play in the upcoming Torneo de Gemas (Gems Tournament) on March 18th. The organizing committee will be using your handicap as of March 13th. If you have games that you have played and not recorded that could have an affect on your handicap, it is suggested that you do so before March 13th. Do not forget to “SAVE” your changes.

This Wednesday we will be playing a two-person team best ball game using Stableford scoring. Each team will need to use the following scoring process: 1 point for a net bogie, 2 points for a net par, 3 points for a net birdie, 5 points for a net eagle and 7 points for a net double eagle. Please record the net best ball team score (the combined score from both players) for each hole and provide summary scores for the front 9, the back 9 and the total 18-hole score. Also, please circle all gross deuces (2’s) on your scorecard and remember to repair all divots.
Reminder: Men’s League guidelines concerning unvaccinated players: The following agreement was reached by the Men’s League members: If you are unvaccinated, you need to let Markus know of your status by sending him a private email (markusgmelin@gmail.com) that will be kept confidential. For all other players, if you do not want to be paired with an unvaccinated player, you need to let Markus know of your request by sending him a private email that will also be kept confidential. Based on this information, Markus will be able to modify any of the computer-generated pairings to make sure that everyone’s wishes are honored. Thank you for your support and understanding.

This week we are playing in teams of four using 2 net scores per hole, one lady’s score and one man’s score. You must use a minimum of six scores per player making the decision after completing each hole.
Shut gun start at 10:00, as usual, and the cost is a 100 pesos per couple.

This notice is to all ladies who participate in the weekly Ladies League. As some of you may know, we are experiencing ladies showing up to play on Fridays and are not on the “official” listing as registered to play. As well, we have ladies that are “register” to play and not showing up resulting in what appears to be a “no show”. After doing some research, it appears this is mostly the result from ladies that are selecting to play or de-selecting to not play on smart phones and tablets and are not “saving” their changes. Please, if you are one of those using smart phones and or tablets PLEASE make sure that you are “saving” your changes. Hopefully this will ensure smoother Friday mornings for those of us who are organizing the games and trying to ensure that you have an enjoyable day of golf and camaraderie.
