Men’s Mixer – Wednesday, February 24th, 2021

Hola El Tigre Golfers,

This Wednesday we will be playing a two person team game using the Stableford scoring system. For team scoring purposes (please note that both players scores will count for the team score on all holes), any net bogie will count as 1 point, any net par will count as two points, any net birdie will count as 3 points, any net eagle will count as 4 points and any net double eagle will count as 6 points. Please record both gross and net scores for all players on all holes and provide team scoring summaries, using the Stableford scoring system described above, for the front 9, the back 9 and the total 18 hole score. Don’t forget to circle all gross deuces (2’s) on your scorecard and please repair all divots.

Reminder Concerning Men’s League play policy – To follow, is a policy statement concerning men’s league play eligibility for any newly arriving members from the US or Canada. Please note that the policy has changed as a result of a vote that was taken by the Men’s league members on January 7th, 2021. Agreement was reached by the members that no newly arriving member would be permitted to play in any Men’s league event during the first seven days, after the completion of international or domestic air travel. We thank you for your understanding and support.

Good luck to all golfers!

Trust the one you love

Dear lovebirds,Résultat de recherche d'images pour "images love birds kissing"

Since it’s Valentine’s day we are playing teams of two. The game this week is a combination of Chapman and scramble and is played as follows:

Mr & Mrs X both hit their tee shots, then on the second shot they hit their spouse’s tee ball Résultat de recherche d'images pour "emoticons" . After that, they choose the ball they wish to continue playing with and they play scramble until the hole is completed.

This is a net competition. We are using 40% of the highest handicap and 60% of the lower handicap. For example: Mr X has a 20 handicap and Mrs X has a 10 handicap. Mr X gets 40 % of 20 which is 8 shots and Mrs X gets 60% of 10 which is 6 shots. The team handicap is 14.

Tee time is a ten as usual and the cost is 1♥♥ pesos per couple.

Please feel free to wear Valentine’s day color.

Hasta el domingo los enamorados.

Men’s Mixer – Wednesday February 10th, 2021

Hola El Tigre Golfers,

This Wednesday we will be playing a two person best ball game which will require all teams to use only one best ball “net” score for all holes. Please record both gross and net scores for all players on all holes and provide team scoring summaries for the front 9, the back 9 and the total 18 hole score. Everyone will also need to keep track of and record all of their putts. There will be an additional contest and payout for lowest number of putts made and this statistic will also be used to break any ties in the two person game. Don’t forget to circle all gross deuces (2’s) on your scorecard and please repair all divots.
