Hola Chica’s,

This Friday we will be playing a game called PRECIOUS.  You will be either a DIAMOND, SAPPHIRE, RUBY or EMERALD!  Scoring will be done by STABLEFORD (net bogie – 1 pt, par 2 pts, birdie – 3 pts, eagle- 5 pts).  Points will cumulated at the end of the round to see which team wins!  Skill Events will be announced on Friday.  Francine and Janet are your  captains this week.

Hopefully you have all signed up by now.  If not, please check your calendar and enter by 3:00 tomorrow.,

This will be a special event with lunch after the round of golf.  You are asked to pick your lunch when you sign up before you go out.  Cost of the meal will be 150 pesos.  This includes the tip.  Cost of the game is 50 pesos, skills 20 pesos.  Correct change is appreciated!

The Flamingos Event on Thursday was very well done, with a complimentary free drink when we came in for lunch, door prizes and a Golf Ball for everyone as a Tee Gift!!  Congratulations to all El Tigre winners at this event.

Ringer Board awards will be handed out as well this Friday.

This week’s format is a Two Lady team with the Bonus Game (5 pts for the drive on the fairway then deduct the number of putts).  Both team members will count their points.  Skills will be added on Friday.  Francine and Janet are the captains for this week.

These are the ladies who have signed up so far.  Please check your March calendar if you want to be included.  Linda G, Lisa, Rosalie, Kathy, Vivian, Janet, Carole, Sue, Rosie, Louise F, Joan A, Sharon, Mimi, Meredith.

Congratulations to last week’s winner for the 4 Lady Team – 2 Best Nets counting  a minimum of 6 holes for each lady!   Donna, Kathy, Leanne and Mimi were the winners of this event!!   KP # 2  – Kathy;  KP to 150 yd marker #8- Mrynalynn;  Long Putt #18 – Rosie;  Long Putt # 13 – Rosalie.  Well Done, Ladies!

Please note that a special event will be held on Friday March 15th. A lunch will follow the golf competition and  the winners of the ringer board will be announced.   Four big teams will compete using the stableford format.  The theme is “precious” and  the teams will be diamond  , Sapphire, ruby and emerald.  We think it could be fun if you could dress to match your precious stone.

Since we need to balance the handicaps, we ask you, exceptionally, to register by Tuesday March 13th no later than 3:00.

As always you can play socially or you can take part in the competition.  If ever you can’t play, you are more than welcome to join us for lunch.  Just let us know, as food has to be ordered ahead of time.

Please come for the fun, the company and the surprises.
