Mens League

Men’s Mixer – Wednesday, May 13th, 2026

Hola El Tigre Golfers,

As of today (Tuesday morning) we have 8 players signed up to play golf tomorrow. Hopefully you will get a few more players before the tee sheet comes out later today.

Rather than cancelling the golf event this week as we discussed last week due to the small number of players, we will have the session and my recommendation would be to have a two-person team best ball event, where each team would only need to count one best ball score for all holes. Since I am back in USA you will need to appoint a money collector and manage the post golf payouts. You will also need to tell Nereo if you will be having a KP competition so that they can set this up for you. In addition to entering your scores on your scoresheets, please also enter your scores in the Golf Genius software for yourself and your golf partner on the screen for each hole. In addition to keeping your scores on-line, Golf Genius will allow you to view the live leaderboard online anytime during the round to see how well your team is doing compared to the rest of the field.

Remember to circle any player in your group that had a natural birdie (deuce) on any of the Par 3 holes.

Lastly, please remember to rake out any bunkers you may have entered and repair all divots.

I wish everyone a great summer, and I look forward to seeing everyone at our first Men’s League golf event on November 4th, 2026

Good luck to all golfers!

Markus

Men’s Mixer – Wednesday, May 6th, 2025

Hola El Tigre Golfers,

Steve has graciously agreed to extend the Men’s League season by two weeks. We will now be playing on May 6th and May 13th. The calendar has been updated to reflect this change and you can now sign up to play on these two dates.

This Wednesday will be playing a four-person team, Red-White-Blue pin placement game.  All four person teams will need to record three best ball net scores on all red pins, two best ball net scores on all white pins and only one best ball net score on all blue pins. Please provide both gross and net scores for all players for your team along with team summary scores for the front 9, the back 9 and the overall 18-hole score. Also, please enter your scores in the Golf Genius software for yourself and your golf partner on the screen for each hole. In addition to keeping your scores on-line, Golf Genius will allow you to view the live leaderboard online anytime during the round to see how well your team is doing compared to the rest of the field.

It is highly recommended that all players arrive no later than 8:30 AM in order to complete their practice warm up and be ready to tee off by 8:50 AM.

Remember to circle any player in your group that had a natural birdie (deuce) on any of the Par 3 holes.

Lastly, please remember to rake out any bunkers you may have entered and repair all divots.

Good luck to all golfers!
