The game for Wednesday, December 18th will be the four person team “reverse red-white-blue” game. The format will be similar to the game we played several weeks ago, except that this time each team will need to count three net best balls on all holes with red flags, two net best balls on holes with white flags and one net best ball on all holes with a blue flag. Please record both gross scores and net scores for all players on all holes and provide team summary scores for the front nine, the back nine and the total 18 hole score. Lastly, please circle any gross deuces “2’s”, repair all of your divots and rake out any bunkers that you may have entered. Good luck to all golfers!

The game for Wednesday, December 11th will be a two person best ball event. For team scoring purposes, each two person team will record a single best “net” score for each hole. For each hole, please record both gross and net scores for all players and provide team score updates for the front 9, the back 9 and the total 18 hole score. Also, please remember to circle any gross deuces “2” on your scorecard, repair all divots and rake out any bunkers that you may have entered. Good luck to all golfers!

Each team will count one “net” best ball for all red pin holes, two “net” best balls for all white pin holes and three “net” best balls for all blue pin holes. The game for November 27th will be a four person team Stapleford event. Each team will count three “net” best scores for all holes. A net bogie will count 1 point, a net par will count 2 points, a net birdie will count 3 points, and a net eagle will count 5 points. For team scoring purposes, please record both gross scores and net scores (for all holes) for all players and provide summaries for the front nine, back nine and total 18 score. Also, please remember to circle any deuces, repair all divots and rake out any bunkers that you may have entered.

Congratulations to Steve Johnson and his staff for organizing and running a very successful two day golf tournament that took place last weekend. Over 80 golfers participated in the event (and also the Saturday night’s award dinner) that featured 36 holes of exciting golf, great food, outstanding entertainment and many prize awards.

The game for November 20th will be a four person team event, commonly referred to as the Reversed Waltz. Each team will count three net scores for hole # 1, two net scores for hole # 2 and one net score for hole # 3, and this pattern will continue for all 18 holes. For team scoring purposes, please record both gross scores and net scores (for all holes) for all players on your team and include summary scores for the front nine, the back nine and the total 18 score. Also, please remember to circle any gross deuces (2) for any of your team players. Please observe good golf etiquette by repairing all divots and raking out any bunkers that you may have entered.

This is also your final reminder for the two day golf event, open to all golf members and social members for Friday, November 22nd and Saturday, November 23rd that will include dinner (Saturday night), awards, welcome gifts and prizes. The entry fee for this event is only $99 USD per person for golf members and $225 USD for social members and the event is filling up fast. Steve has also arranged for some great entertainment for the Saturday night dinner event. Limited dinner tickets are also available for non-playing spouses or guests. You can sign up for this event at the El Tigre golf shop, but please remember that the deadline to sign up for the event is this upcoming Wednesday, November 20th.
